New development opportunities for higher education in Hainan have approached. To secure great development, higher education in Hainan must be guided by new and scientific concepts of develop- ment, directed by market orientation, socialization and future needs as well as motivated by reforms. Meanwhile, it should focus on institutional renovations and base itself on serving Hainan and the whole country.
