摘要
英语教师信念体系的本质和特征是教师关于教与学的态度、价值、理论和假想。多数教师的信念是相对一致的,只是对课堂和教学模式的理解各有不同。现在的主要问题是教师信念与学习者信念不一致以及教师信念与其教学实践不一致。有必要建立以教师专业化、教师、教学、课堂、语言、教学计划和课程、学习者以及学习的信念为主要内容的合理的英语教师信念体系,以提高教师的信念意识,促进教学反思。
The present paper aims to explore the teacher's belief system. It first discusses the nature of the system-the teacher's belief consisting of teacher's attitude, value, theory and assumption about teaching and learning. While teachers'believes share to a large degree, their understanding of the courses and teaching models differ. The primary problem now is that teachers don't have the same believes as the learners, nor have their believes been implemented in their teaching practice. This paper advocates the reasonable structure of teacher's belief system which includes teacher's believes about teaching profession, teachers, teaching, class, language, teaching programs and curriculum, learners and learning. Armed with appropriate belief system, teachers can enhance their belief awareness in teaching and thus reflect their teaching as a profession.
