Rhetorical Genre Studies and Rhetorical Structure Theory

修辞体裁研究和篇章结构论旨在分析独白语篇的组织模式。本文回顾了两者的发展历程 ,着重对篇章结构论领域中新近出现的修辞结构论进行了系统而深入的探讨 ,并且指出修辞体裁分析、篇章结构论分析与修辞结构论之间的联系以及这些分析方法之间所存在着的一定的重叠关系。

Both rhetorical genre studies and text structure theory are for the purpose of analyzing the structural patterns of written monologues. After a survey of the development of the two subjects, the paper emphatically presents a systematic and in-depth exploration of the recently emerging rhetorical structure theory from the perspective of text structure theory, and indicates the connections between rhetorical genre analysis, text structure theory analysis and rhetorical structure theory analysis respectively and a definite overlap among these analyses.
