摘要
为改进我国大学英语写作教学,应该重新审视大学英语基础阶段写作教学目标这一基本问题,在明确该阶段写作教学与国外二语和我国英语专业写作教学差异的基础上,可以从八个角度证明,该阶段写作教学的目标还不是英语交际能力,而是作为该能力基础的英语语言能力。
Based on a review of the recent research on the teaching of English writing on the foundation stage of college English in China, the author appeals to reexamine the objectives of writing training on this stage. After a brief analysis on the features of the writing training on the stage, the author tries to prove from nine different perspectives that the objectives in question is not yet English communicative competence. Instead, it should be its indispensable foundation -- linguistic competence, thus carving a new approach to the training model typical of college English writing in China.
