This paper is a comment of A New Century Chinese-English Dictionary chief-edited by Professor Hui Yu. Through the comparison and contrast between this dictionary and other Chinese-English dictionaries in China, we arrive at the conclusion that A New Century Chinese-English Dictionary is a practical dictionary with innovations. It is a new important work in the field of Chinese-English dictionary compilation.
