Report on Rural Poverty Situation in China

贫困既是一个经济问题,也是一个社会问题,同时还是生态与政治权利问题,贫困呈现出多元化特征。本研究以高覆盖率(我国西部6省11县20个贫困村)、大样本(200多户)农户调查的第一手资料为基础,真实地反映了我国西部地区农村贫困的现状、程度及特征,为今后扶贫政策的更有效制定和调整提供了坚实的实践基础。

Poverty is not only economic and social problems, but also ecological and political problems. It has multiple aspects. This report presents current rural poverty situation and its features in western part of China based on the survey of more than 200 households, in 20 poor villages, 11 poor counties, 6 provinces using participatory approach.
