Applications of the optical wavelet transform to the edge detection of images

摘要 小波变换是一种有效检测图像边缘的方法,但由于变换中维数倍增,造成计算量十分大。介绍用传统的4f光学处理系统实现小波变换,它在光学图像的边缘特征提取中能够很好地得到应用,最后给出计算机仿真结果。 Wavelet transform is a feasible method of the edge detection of images. But it has a shortcoming that the dimensions increase double when it is transformed, so the calculation quantity is greatly increased. A wavelet transform in a traditional 4f optical processor is presented in this paper, which can be applied to the edge detection of optical images. In the end, the computer simulation results are given.
