The novel To the Lighthouse by the well-known British female writer Virginia Woolf is a feminist literary work. Woolf represents sexual dichotomy in a patriarchal society, advances her proposals for the deconstructions of sexual dichotomy, and chanllenge the long-accepted patterens of conventional novels by inventing new forms and techniques. The novel reflects a conscious application of Virginia Woolf's feminist ideas.
