《诗本音》所考古音与《诗集传》注音

Old Chinese Phonics Verified by Original Phonics in The Book of Songs(诗本音) and Phonetic Notation in Collected Commentaries on The Book of Songs(诗集传)

《诗本音》中,古音异于今音的韵字180个。这180个韵字顾炎武共入韵597次。对照《诗集传》注音,其中27次不入韵或入韵而读音不详,87次读今音,22次兼读双音,461次读叶音。从这些注音的讨论中显示:顾炎武古音学成就有不如朱熹者。

In Original Phonics in The Book of Songs written by Gu Yanwu(1613-1682),there were 180 rhyming characters of which the old Chinese phonics differed from phonics of later ages. Gu had expressed these 180 character in rhyme for 597 times. As compared with the phonetic notation in Collected Commentaries on The Book of Songs written by Zhu Xi(1130-1200),we couldnt express these 180 characters in rhyme or could express in rhymes but not quite clear for 27 times;and pronounce based on phonics of later ages for 87 times;and pronounce concurrently as double tone for 22 times;and pronounce as harmonic overtone for 461 times. From this discussion about phonetic notation,it is evident that Gu Yanwus achievements in old Chinese phonics was not so good as Zhu Xis.
