WCDMA Market Situation in South Korea

自从2003年12月29日韩国移动运营商推出WCDMA业务以来,门庭冷落、用户寥寥,发展情况堪忧。从韩国的市场环境、运营商、用户、政府等不同的角度分析了其中的原因,并对WCDMA在韩国未来的发展前景进行了预测。

WCDMA mobile phone services offered by South Korea since Dec 29th,2003 have performed disappointingly. This thesis presented analysis from different point of view,such as the situation of the South Korean market,mobile carriers activities,customers' willing and the policy of Korean government's,and trying to explore the reasons behind it. We also made some forecast on the future development of WCDMA service in South Korea.
