Lying along on Song Hua River, the city Wula in the Jilin Province remains a Manchurian settlement. Residing in a culture focused on hunting and fishing, dogs and falcons are still considered priceless in Manchurian society. These people from frozen North continue to pass on their ancient traditions of falconry. The old saying "February and August mark the passing of the falcons" points to the high importance of the falcons' annual migration in Manchurian life.
