广东省梅州城区居民对癌症知识认识与需求的调查分析

Investigation on knowledge and requirements about cancer in residents in Meizhou city district,Guangdong Province

目的 :了解广东省梅州城区居民对癌症知识认识和需求情况 ,为建立癌症防治网提供一定依据。方法 :用系统抽样方法抽查梅州城区 3 5～ 65岁常住居民 5 16人 (男 2 85人 ,女 2 3 1人 ) ,进行癌症相关知识认识和需求调查 ,并进行统计分析。结果 :居民对癌症是关注的 ,但居民对癌症的认识是不完全、不确定的 ,不同年龄、不同文化程度居民对癌症知识认识来源不同。调查显示居民对癌症防治知识的需求较强烈。结论 :开展癌症健康教育符合居民对健康的需求 ,应根据不同年龄。

OBJECTIVE:To understand the cancer knowledge of residents and their requirements for prevention and treatment in Meizhou city district,in order to give the basis to develop a cancer prevention and treatment network. METHODS:Five hundred and sixteen 35-65 year old persons (male 285,female 231) were sampled systematically and investigated for their knowledge about cancer and requirements for cancer prevention and treatment,and the data were analyzed.RESULTS:The residents were concerned to cancer but their knowledge about cancer was incomplete and not confirmed.The sources to cancer knowledge were different among different age,education level residents.The requirements of the residents for cancer prevention and treatment were very serious.CONCLUSIONS:It is necessary to have health education for cancer and the methods of health education should be in accordance with the residents’ages and education levels.
