为加强欧盟国与国之间的科研合作,欧盟专门制定了框架计划(FP),FP的研究领域很广。第五框架计划(FP5)和第六框架计划(FP6)分别列有关于下一代网络(NGN)的项目:NGN动议(NGNI)和NGN2010。NGNI的主要目标是鼓励世界各地对NGN研究工作有兴趣的群体行动起来,进行协调,推动现有网络平滑地向下一代网过渡,在创建未来信息社会的过程中提供具有高安全、高质量和高性能的无缝服务,NGNI将评估用于NGN的技术及其重要性;NGN2010综合了网络和服务的所有方面,试图解决技术和功能/算法等方面的问题,并通过联络、会议、出版物等来与标准化组织、论坛、运营商和外部世界发生联系。
To enforce the scientific cooperation between nations in EU, framework program (FP) is specifically constituted by EU. The research area of FP is wide. NGN projects are included in FP5 and FP6 respectively: NGNI and NGN2010. The main aim of NGNI is to encourage organizations all over the world that are interested in NGN research to cooperate and evolve existing networks smoothly to NGN, to provide seamless service with high safety, high quality and high performance during the construction of future information society.
