Several Considerations Concerning Adult Higher Education Conducted by General Colleges and Universities

普通高校办成人高等教育利大于弊。普通高校无疑要做到"一体两翼",但应摆正普通教育和成人教育这两"翼"的位置。在管理、教学方法上,成人高等教育有着不同于普通高等教育的特点。

Colleges and universities have more advantages than disadvantages in carrying out adult higher education. Colleges and universities must realize the 'one body and two wings ', and choose correct positions for the 'two wings', general education and adult education. Therefore, in the aspects of administering and teaching methods, adult higher education has some different characteristics from those of general higher education.
