摘要
中国存世最早的家具是漆器。汉代以前，古人是席地而坐的，与其生活方式相适应的家具，主要有几案，床榻和屏风。当时的几案都很矮小，目前所见的最早的床，是河南信阳出土的战国彩漆木床，床面活铺屉板，四面装配围栏，前后各留一缺口，以便上下。有些像幼儿园的童床，床足仅有19厘米高。
