Preparation of Water-soluble Antiwear Organic Phosphate Lubricant

摘要 The water-soluble organic phosphate compounds as lubricant were synthesied and analyzed by IR spectrometry. The tribological properties of the compounds were evaluated in a self-made four-ball tester. It is found that the lubrication properties of the water-soluble organic phosphate are affected by the alkyl chain length of the organic lubricant and the longer the chain with the hydrophobic group, the better the lubrication property of the phosphate. The highest load capacity of the phosphate was 676 N, and the wear scar diameter on the four-ball tester was 0.46 mm. The SEM and EDAX results indicate that phosphors are adsorbed on the worn surface in the form of ironic phosphate which provides high antiwear properties.
