摘要
论述知识管理的概念和本质特征,揭示知识、信息的内涵和它们之间的相互关系;指出知识管理不仅要努力发展新的技术工具和手段,更应对人的因素予以特别关注,并结合情报研究工作的实际提出一些看法。
The concept of KM and its innate characters are studied. The connotations of knowledge & information and the relationship between them are discussed. It is concluded that KM is based on information management but far more than that. KM integrates information resource management with human resource management, with its special emphasis on the latter. So we should not only care about developing new technical tools, but also pay close attention to people. Creation, sharing, and use of knowledge all rely on people, and they are often unnatural acts, we should do more to promote that. That needs some incentive, demands us to put great effort in reward system building, and most of all, good environment, culture and atmosphere.
