高校公共英语教学“瓶颈”矛盾剖析 被引量:1

摘要 制约高等院校公共英语教学的矛盾比较多。我们认为 ,应试与素质教育之间的矛盾、学习和应用之间的矛盾、文化与语言教学之间的矛盾是诸多矛盾中的“瓶颈”矛盾 ,是解决许多问题的关键环节。只有比较好地解决了这些“瓶颈”矛盾 ,高等院校公共英语教学才能实现一个新的飞跃和质的升华 ,真正实现向素质教育的转型。 There exist many contradictive restrictions in public English teaching at colleges and universities. We think that among all these contraditions, the contradictions between examination-oriented education system and quality education , between learning and application as well as between culture and language teaching are the “bottleneck ” contradictions , which are the key to solve many problems. Only these “bottleneck” contraditions are better solved can public English teaching at colleges and universities develop by leaps and bounds and rise to a higher level leading to the real transition to quality education.
