This paper presents the failures and exceptional phenomena of the 28AT type dry gas sealing in a CO 2 compressor in Jianfeng Chemical Fertilizer Plant.Starting from the mechanism of dry gas sealing,the paper also compares the practical operating conditions with the designed,analyzes and discusses the reasons for the failure and corresponding solutions.
