Analysis of Metaphor from the Perspective of Stereotypical Relation

隐喻不仅是一种语言现象 ,而且是说话人和受话人思想之间的交流。基于这一点 ,关联理论已被广泛运用于隐喻研究中 ,而常规关系原则同样在隐喻的产生。

The phenomenon of metaphor has been the topic of haunting interest among researchers. This paper attempts to study the origination, identification and interpretation of metaphor based on the stereotypical relation theory proposed by Levinson.
