Reflections on Non-equivalence from the Perspective of Manipulation

实际翻译中经常出现原文和译文在各方面的不对等现象。本文首先回顾翻译研究领域对“对等”的研究成果 ,再把关注焦点放到作为例外的“不对等”现象上 ,在进一步分析不对等现象出现的原因和适宜程度等问题时 ,本文借助文化操纵理论观 ,指出的语的文化底蕴和价值等是重要的影响因素 。

Facts of non-equivalence are often traced in translation. Focusing on this, this paper reviews some reputable research outcomes in the respect of equivalence in the first place and, in an attempt to elaborate on the possible causes and appropriateness of non-equivalence, it introduces the approaches of manipulation and the related arguments, figuring out the cultural background and identity of the target language are greatly attributed to this very phenomenon.
