The Influence on Chongqing's Higher Education of Entry into WTO (Ⅲ) —On the Readjustment of Chongqing's Higher Education Function

加入WTO后 ,我国的高等教育纳入了服务贸易总协定的管辖范围 ,在全球化的国际潮流中 ,必然面临教育理念、办学模式和管理方式等各个方面的影响。为此 ,高等教育功能必须应对WTO基本规则的要求作出及时的调整。基于该目的 ,本文通过分析重庆市高等教育在当前和今后应该具备的基本功能以及现实差距 。

With the access to WTO, the higher education of China is in the extent of jurisdiction of General Agreement on Trade in Services, GATS. In the international wave of globalization, inevitably confronted with the impact on ideas of education, modes of running schools, ways of administration and some other aspects, it is imperative to adjust the functions of higher education according to the requirement on the basic regulations of WTO. For this purpose, this thesis analyzes the basic functions and the gap of higher education in Chongqing at present and in future. Meanwhile, it probes into the train of thought and provides some suggestions about reshuffling the functions of higher education in Chongqing.
