China's Foreign Trade Surges 35.4% in First Two Months

China's foreign trade volume totaled US$147.64 billion in the first two months of 2004,up 35.4% year-on-year, latest figures from the General Administration of Customs show.The volume included US$69.87 billion in exports and US$77.77 billion in imports, up 28.7% and 42% respectively over the same periods last year.
