This paper presents a virtual home environment (VHE) platform for mobile services. The platform enables the advanced features of mobile services and the service environment portability across network boundaries and between terminals. The paper firstly gives the architecture of the platform and its function modules, and then fully analyzes its advanced features for mobile services, such as service adaptation, service personalization, service continuity and service provision. Finally, it outlines the development trend of mobile intelligent services based on the VHE platform and the problems existed in the way.
