By researching the CAN network and CAN spots of visual -speaking systems, we have developed a kind of distributed visual-speaking system based on the CAN network.A CAN network with many masters will be used in visual-speaking systems. This article discusses the chief technology and ideas of the system which include the CAN network, CAN spots of visual-speaking systems, and design of CAN spot's software. This system will be widely used in residential areas, intelligence-buildings, hospitals, warehouses, and so on.
