The paper discusses the principle to design a new electric soft starter of three-phases asynchronous electromotor . It proposes utilizing PIC single chip microcomputer to control the phase-moved voltage of TC787A which is a integrate pulse producer in order to produce six pulses which touch off thyristor to realize soft-startup of electromotor. During the process of startup and running of electromotor, the single microcomputer is detecting the trouble of phase-lacked and overload circularly to protect the electrometer.
