To solve the online measurement problem of city subway rail signal, according to the basic principle of electrification rail circuit and the characteristic of subway rail signal, a phase digital measurement method used in subway alternating rail signal was proposed. The major technical index of the instrument and the technical characteristic of phase measurement were given. This detecting system can satisfy actual needs.
