Lü Bingkui, A Man of Merit in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Serial II)

半个多世纪以来 ,吕炳奎是我国中医界广为熟悉和仰慕的代表与卓越领导人 ,对中医事业发展做出了重要贡献 ,是公认的新中国中医事业的奠基人之一 ,又是中医理论大家、临床大家、教育大家。他为创立发展全国中医事业付出了毕生的精力、呕心沥血、鞠躬尽瘁。在关键时刻振臂高呼、力挽狂澜 ,捍卫党的中医政策 ,端正航向 ,使中医事业健康地发展。赢得了中医界的普遍赞誉与拥戴 ,亲切地称他为“全国中医的良师益友”、“杏林元勋”。

For half a century Lu Bingkui has been a well known and admired representative and outstanding leader in the field of TCM in China. He contributed much to the development of TCM cause. He was one of the founders of TCM in the new China. He was a great theorist of TCM, a great clinical practitioner and a great educator. He devoted his whole life to the cause of TCM. At the very crucial moment he raised his arm and shouted for the Party’s policy of TCM, which corrected the course of the development of TCM. Therefore he was named “a teacher in guiding the cause of TCM”、 “a man of great distinction in the field of TCM”.
