介绍了CYPRESS公司出品的新型的通用串行总线(USB)控制芯片EZUSB FX系列并介绍了与其它公司USB控制芯片的不同,说明把它作为USB协议与其它协议之间接口控制芯片的好处,同时给出了一个工作于USB模式与增强型并行端口(EPP)模式之间的实例。

Cypress Semiconductor’s EZUSB FX used as USB controller is introduced, andthe difference between EZUSB FX and other USB controller is given. Then the convenience ininterface design between USB and other protocols is shown. At last a designed example betweenUSB and EPP protocol is presented.
