《金匮要略》关于脾胃病内容丰富 ,在辨与治方面呈现出规律性的内容。其中在辨的目标上主要是辨其“证” ,在辨的方法上主要是辨其八纲属性。在治的原则上遵循着审证求因 ,审因论治 ,包括审病变脏腑、病证属性等 ;其组方用药体现为围绕主症 ,结合病机 ,以组方用药。

Medical Treasures of the Golden Chamber abounds with regular descriptions of diseases of the spleen and stomach. The aim of syndrome differentiation is to differentiate between the 'syndromes' and the methods of syndrome differentiation based on the eight principles. The prescriptions are formed according to the main syndrome, with regard to the pathogenesis.
