2003年中国石油石化行业进入了景气周期的上升阶段,企业经济效益全面好转,成品油市场活跃,消费增长强劲,主要石化产品产量继续增长,产品结构更趋合理。2003年全国原油产量1 696亿t,表观消费量2 53亿t,比上年增长10%。原油加工量约2 4亿t,同比增长10 3%。乙烯产量612万t,比上年增长13%。合成树脂产量约1594万t,增长了16 5%,合成橡胶产量127万t,增长了12 2%,合成纤维产量1069万t,增长了17 3%。

In 2003 China's petroleum and petrochemical industries came into a climbing stage in business cycle,the enterprises were getting better brisk in economic returns,product oil market came brisk,and the consumption showed a strong increase.The production of main products continued to go up,and the product's mix structure tended to be rational.China produced 169.6 million tons of crude oil in 2003.The apparent consumption was 253 Mt,10% more than the previous year.Its refining volume of crude oil was 240 Mt,a rise of 10.3% over same period of previous year.Ethylene of 6.12Mt was produced,exceeding the previous year by 13%.And the 15.94 Mt of synthesized resin was 16.5% more,compared with that in 2002.Synthesized rubber and synthesized fiber was 127Mt and 10.69 Mt,respectively,12.2% and 17.3% more than in 2002.
