摘要
民办教育的发展离不开理论研究的支持。对划分公办院校与民办院校的标准,众说纷纭。要区分公办院校与民办院校的本质性差异,应当以由谁来“经办”或“营办”作为重要标准,并据此界定民办教育的本质特征。同公办学校相比照,民办学校具有自主性、灵活性、个性化的特征。民办教育是一种创新性的教育形式,民办教育理论研究也应该是一种创新性的研究。
Private education cannot develop without the support of theoretical studies. Actually, the evolution of the concept 'private education' in China is the epitome of contemporary educational reforms. There exist controversies over the standards for defining those state-run institutions and private institutions. The author believes that the 'sponsor' or 'operator' should be treated as the important standard for defining the two types of educational institutions and describing the essential features of private education. In view that private education is an innovative form of education, the study of private education should also be innovative in essence.
