场热电子发射与场热电子显示屏FTD

摘要 由于场热电子发射显示屏FTD采用场热发射微电子枪平板阵列,对场强和真空度的要求都不高,而且发射电流密度大,发射电流稳定性和均匀性好,故FTD既具有与液晶显示屏LCD、等离子显示屏PDP和场电子显示屏FED一样的平板结构,又具有与阴极射线显象管CRT一样的高亮度、高清晰度、广视角、低功耗、长寿命和优良的彩色图像。而且FTD生产工艺简单,凡能够生产CRT、LCD和PDP的厂家,不必增加大型设备,即可生产FTD。因此FTD生产成本低,是一种能够实现CRT平板化,并与其它平板显示屏,如LCD、PDP等在市场中相竞争的优质平析显示屏。 Because of the F ield Thermal Display (FTD) applying the field thermal emission micro electron gu ns flat panel array, which needs no high field strength, needs no high vacuum a nd can emits high current density stably and uniformly. So it possesses flat pa nel structure like that of the LCD, PDP and FED. And possesses high brightness, high distinction, wild visual angle, Iow loss, long life and high quality of co lor image like that of the CRT. The production of FTD is simple. Factories can product CRT, LCD or PDP, also can product FTD without increase more giant equipments. Therefore, the production cost of FTD is low. It is a f lat panel display with good quality of color image, which realized the flat pan elized of CRT and can compete with all the flat panel displays such as LCD, PDP and etc. in the market.
