On the Foundation of Ethno-ethics

作者认为对民族伦理学进行反思虽然不是民族伦理学研究的直接内容,但其对于民族伦理学理论的基本建设却有着重要的意义。民族学的可能性在西方思想中有其根源,而民族伦理学却是我们所特有的。它根植于我们传统思想的深处,有待于在"伦理主义"的基础上得到全面的发展。

Reflection on ethno-ethics is not the concrete content of the study of ethno-ethics, but it has much significance to the theoretical formation of ethno-ethics. The formation of ethnology has its root in the Western thoughts while ethno-ethics belongs to China with its root in our tradition which is waiting for an over-all development based on ethicism.
