This article is intended as an introduction to the DataViz extension from TGS——a high-level data visualization component for Open Inventor. DataViz provides a complete development tool for all types of engineering application. The structure and features of the DataViz extension are described. Some application tips are emphasized. A simple application example is provided to show the essential format of application program.
