简述GIS的概念、功能及发展趋势,论述城市供水管网现状,探讨利用GIS平台建立城市供水管网地理信息系统的必要性及应对措施。系统介绍目前城市供水管网GIS软件的主要功能,并对未来的软件系统提出了管网分析、模拟与预测的功能,使其逐渐发展成为功能强大的决策支持系统.
The conception , functions and developing direction of GIS are discussed simply. The situation of municipal water supply pipeline network and the necessity of application of GIS to municipal water supply pipeline network are discussed. The GIS software functions in municipal water supply pipeline network are introduced. The function of analysis , simulation and forecast in coming GIS software in municipal water supply pipeline network are put forward.
