Urban traffic and urban form ——An unavoidable topic in urban design

从宏观与微观两方面重点分析了城市交通与城市形态的关系,指出两者之间的关系是"干"与"形"的关系,城市交通对城市规模、空间结构以及城市的产生、发展与演进都起着至关重要的作用,对城市形态的重新组合以及垂直交叉的发展等微观形态方面也是一关键的因素.

Through macro and micro view, the relationship between urban traffic and urban form is analyzed. The paper points out that the relationship is about trunk and form. From the macroscopic view, urban traffic is significant for urban scale, space structure and its birth, development and evolvement. From microscopic view, it is a key issue for the reconstruction of urban form,the development of vertical intersection and the destruction of urban cultural form.
