甲骨文虽然只是商代后期的占卜文字(后来又包括西周甲骨文),但它却如同一部不藏善不隐恶的信史,记载了华夏民族历史和文化的方方面面,诸如政治、哲学、经济、宗教等等。其中也比较全面地记载了中国古代女性的辉煌和喜悦、厄运与悲苦,使人能从中看到中国古代女性的音容笑貌,也能听到她们的低沉呻吟。
