A Review of Market Economy Theory of the Western Neo-liberalism

西方新自由主义经济学迷信市场万能,反对国家对经济的全面干预;极力维护资本主义私有制,主张国有企业私有化;主张建立"小政府"并大力限制政府的作用。本文对其市场经济理论作了简要评议,认为他们的基本理论不能成为我国社会主义经济现代化的指导思想。我们应对其理论和政策采取分析的态度,根据我国社会主义的特点利用其有用的东西,促进我国的经济发展和经济改革。

The western neo-liberalism economics worships market, opposes to overall national intervention in the economy and strongly safeguards the capitalism. They advocate the privatization of state-owned enterprises and the establishment of'small government' so as to limit the function of governments effectively. This paper, based on a brief review of their theory, concludes that it must not serve as the leading idea in modernizing our socialist economy. And the theory and polices should be analyzed so that we can make use of those suitable to the features of China's socialism to promote the economic development and reform in China.
