浅说“一见钟情”——才子佳人小说叙事模式的文化透视

A Rustic Opinion about the Model of "Falling in Love at First Sight" ——The Cultural Explanation on the Narrative Model of the Romances about Gifted Scholars and Beautiful Girls

明末清初的才子佳人小说在男女主人公之间形成了"一见钟情"的相见模式。首先,这一模式的形成与封建礼教禁锢下的人性诉求有着非常密切的关系。封建礼教只能限制青年男女的行动自由却无法束缚其正常的生理发育,它对两性交往的严厉禁锢,反而更加激发起青年男女们对异性的渴盼与向往,从而也就更易于一见钟情了。其次,这一模式的形成与明末清初追求个性解放的时代思潮也有着非常密切的关系。一定程度的个性解放,使得才子佳人们充满着对自主婚姻的强烈渴望,对封建礼教的基本恪守,又使得他们不能也不敢与异性自由交往,正是这一特点促成了他们的一见钟情。

The romances about gifted scholars and beautiful girls written in the late Ming dynasty and the early Qing dynasty take on a narrative model of 'falling in love at first sight'. The first, the appearance of the model has a very close connection with the humane confided in the Confucian circumstances.The feudal ethical codes only can restrict them to frequent contact, but can't prevent them from psychologically growing up.Furthermore,the Confucian makes them more long for the opposite sex, so they easily fall in love at first sight. The second, the appearance of the model has a very close connection with the personality-liberating ideological trend in the period from Ming dynasty to Qing dynasty, too. The personal liberation to some extent makes the scholars and the beauties long for the marriage decided by themselves and try to oppose the Confucian. In the same time, they can't and don't dare to freely associate with the opposite sex because they have to abide by the Confucian. It is this peculiarity that urge them to fall in love at first sight.
