Sintering Process and Mechanism of Cordierite Ceramic

摘要 本文利用DSC、XRD技术,研究了MgO、AlO_3和SiO_2反应烧结制备堇青石陶瓷的机理。结果表明MgO和Al_2O_3在1155℃反应合成镁铝尖晶石(MgAl_2O_4),进而在1317℃长时间保温与SiO_2反应生成堇青石。 Cordierile ceramic was prepared by reaction sintering of MgO, Al2O3 and SiO2, and the corresponding sintering mechanism was investigated using DSC and XRD. It is shown that spinelle ( MgAl2O4 ) was firstly synthesized by reaction of MgO and Al2O3 at 1155° C, further, which reacted with SiO2 under long time sintering at 1317℃and formed cordierite ceramic.
