摘要
Since ancient immemorial, Vietnam has always enjoyed close ties with China, which results in a large number of loanwords from Chinese. Those loanwords can mainly be divided into three categories, which include loanwords from ancient Chinese, from modern Chinese and from Chinese with Vietnamese features. Those loanwords are not only in large quantity but also widespread, thus becoming a very important part of the Vietnamese vocabulary.
