This paper desctibes the technological process and experience in producing Al—Si compacted graphite cast iron in detail and analyzes the heat resistant property systematically from all sides in theory.It has been tested and verified that Al—Si compacted graphite cast iron is a suitable material to manufacture heat resistant crucible and some permanent molds.
