摘要
美国女作家玛格丽特·密契尔的长篇小说《飘》自1936年出版以来,一直是国内外广受欢迎的一部作品,但同时又因为其对奴隶制的缅怀而成为倍受争议、不被承认的作品。从历史的宏观角度解读这部作品,并以小说对南北战争与奴隶制的描写为契机,可以寻求其"尴尬"处境的成因。
Since its publication in 1936, Gone with Wind, being well received worldwide, is sill a controversial work without recognition because of the author's nostalgia for slavery. By analyzing the work from a macro-historical aspect and focusing on the description of the Civil War and slavery system, the article tries to find the causes of its dilemma.
