口译作为一种跨文化交际活动,在保留普通人际交际共同特征的同时,又有自己的特点。口译交际受许多因素的影响,其交际过程涉及语言知识和非语言知识体系以及相关能力的相互作用。口译教学应关注学生如何在动态口译教学过程中获取知识和提高能力。

As a cross-cultural activity, interpretation possesses both its own characteristics and the features common to any inter-personal communication. Influenced by many factors, the interpretation process involves the interaction of both linguistic and extra-linguistic systems and various abilities of the interpreters. The teaching of interpretation should, therefore, be centered on the creation of such dynamic teaching conditions under which the students can both acquire the knowledge and improve their abilities required.
