摘要
英汉两种语言都有大量的禁忌语和委婉语 ,且两种语言在禁忌话题上存在很多相同之处。对这两种语言的禁忌语、委婉语的表达方式及其变化进行分析 ,以加深对这一问题的认识。
There are many verbal taboos and euphemisms both in English and Chinese. Both languages share many similarities in taboo topics. This paper intends to make an English-Chinese contrastive analysis of some of the taboos, euphemisms and their changes so as to further the study of this field.
