Supplement to Terms in Verification of Shendao's Theory of Sphere-Heavens

本文主要解决"轻清"、"劲风"两词语用于宇宙创生和天文学的断代问题,以期从汉语史角度缜密追踪《慎子》慎懋赏万历刻本作伪的论断,由此旁及"清阳"、"清轻"、"轻清"、"劲风"等的诸多义项,可补《汉语大词典》收义不全的不足。

This thesis addresses itself mainly to the cosmic genesis and astronomic segmentation caused by application of the two terms 'Qing-Qing' (meaning light and clear) and 'Jing-Feng' (meaning strong wind), aiming to confirm, from the perspective of Chinese history of language, the assertion that the block-printed edition of Shen Maoshang's Shenzi during the reign of Emperor Wanli in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). It also involves the other meanings of the two terms and some other entries such as 'Qing-Yang' (meaning clear and masculine)and 'Qing-Qing' (meaning clear and light), which make up for the inadequacy of entries in A Dictionary of Chinese Language.
