摘要
语言与思维密切相关。汉英不同民族的思维模式对汉、英两种语言产生一定的影响。文章主要从实用的角度,对比分析了英汉两种语言的总体特点,并讨论了在进行语言转换时应采用的技巧等。
Language and thinking are closely interrelated . The difference in thought patterns of Chinese and English people has an effect upon the two languages. This essay analyses the general characteristics of the languages and discusses some skills in language translation from the viewpoint of practical purposes .
