本文论述了目前在工业化国家得到迅速发展的一种直接由计算机几何模型制成工件的新型制造技术———快速自动成型技术。内容包括 :快速自动成型技术的基本概念 ,还包括该技术在工业中的应用实例。

In this paper, a novel manufacturing technology --rapid auto-prototyping is introduced based on the technique from computer geometric models to parts directly, which has been developed recently in industrial country. The main principles of rapid auto-prototyping and its applications in industry are analyzed.
