自由基与多发性硬化

摘要 自由基损伤与多发性硬化(Multiple sclerosis,MS)发病密切相关。MS存在着自由基产生过多,氧化应激程度增强,髓鞘膜膦脂的脂质过氧化及由此引起的髓鞘变性和破坏。自由基清除剂尿酸(UA)能维持血-中枢神经系统(Central nervous system,CNS)屏障的完整性,阻止炎症细胞浸入CNS,从而有效治疗EAE。抗氧化剂也能明显减轻EAE的严重程度,为临床治疗MS拓宽了思路。
